“ What can I say Carbone is a classic Italian restaurant, one of my first dates was Carbone's on Franklin Ave, and now open in small town of Bloomfield. Never really had a bad meal they have been doing this a long time. Old school Italian restaurant and service . ”
“ Carbone's was such a gem! I didn't know anything was in this plaza except a liquor store, but apparently it has a beautiful and delicious restaurant! The interior has a lot of dark wood with more colorful but not overwhelming decorations blending in... I imagine it's what eating dinner at a minor counts house would be like. Plenty of parking outside, and at least two rooms of seating inside. The menu is a good size with pasta options. My carbonara was rich and a great portion size - I had some for lunch the next day. The servers were all friendly and although they did check in frequently, were quick and let conversation resume. ”
“ My waiter super friendly and welcoming for my first visit. He made me feel right at home and answered all my questions.Drinks were on point! I tried the CK Punch and Raspberry Margarita, both were strong and delicious. The apps were amazing! I got the crab egg rolls and calamari, and let me tell you, they were bursting with flavor. Definitely recommend those!Entrees were a bit of a miss though. The salmon I got (Fao Island Salmon) was way too salty and wasn't cooked how I asked. The sirloin crusted Gorgonzola also wasn't what I expected. It wasn't crusted at all and kind of bland. The mashed potatoes that came with it were creamy but also bland.But hey, the cheesecake saved the day! It was really good.Overall, it was a decent experience. I'll probably go back again, but next time try something new! ”
“ Outstanding meal with a large group here! I had the gnocchi and substituted vodka sauce. It was the perfect size and every bite was incredible. The tiramisu was clearly freshly made, my favorite so I'm picky but this was good! Not pictured is the caprese but get it and you won't regret it, the best balsamic I've had in ages. We were a very large party and she did great with our wine orders and food arrived together. Never been here and this place was a treat! ”
